- How to apply: Applicants must complete an online application form specific to each programme. The Heritage and Nature Grants are by invitation only, typically in the autumn. For the Welcome Fund Programme, applicants must contact the foundation by phone or email to discuss plans before applying.
- Deadlines: The Community Grants programme has cut-off dates four times a year, with the next being 17th October at 11am. The Police and Crime Commissioner's Community Action Fund closes on Monday 17 August, and the Older People's Programme closes on 21 September.
- What they don’t fund: The High Sheriff Grants programme is currently closed for applications but will reopen in 2026. The Wessex Water Community Fund applications open on 21 September 2026. The Science Museum Group Wroughton Solar Park Sustainable Futures Grants are closed and will open for Expressions of Interest in Autumn 2026.
