To further education, learning and research related to the history of late medieval England (and in particular the life & reign of King Richard III) and to disseminate the results of such education, learning and research through the commissioning, preparation and publication of books, documents and by such other means as the Trustees may at their discretion determine.

Although the Trust reported a net deficit of £61,080 for the year, this was largely due to the reinvestment of proceeds from the sale of inherited property, resulting in a total net asset position of over £1 million. The trustees confirm that resources are adequate to continue operations on a going concern basis.
