To advance education for the public benefit, in particular, but not exclusively, by providing alending library and reading room and facilities for educational and cultural activities for theresidents of the Cricklewood area of the London Borough of Brent and neighbouring districtsand for persons who work in or have a connection to the area.

(1)TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY PROVIDING A LENDING LIBRARY AND READING ROOM AND FACILITIES FOR EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE RESIDENTS OF THE CRICKLEWOOD AREA OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT AND NEIGHBOURING DISTRICTS AND FOR PERSONS WHO WORK IN OR HAVE A CONNECTION TO THE AREA.(2)TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF THE CRICKLEWOOD AREA OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OFBRENT AND NEIGHBOURING DISTRICTS AND FOR PERSONS WHO WORK IN OR HAVE A CONNECTION TO THEAREA THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALSWHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT,FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THEINTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAIDPERSONS.
