VOLITION COMMUNITY
We operate as a Cathedral Volunteer Programme for unemployed people. We bring a sharp focus to their employability and skills needs and create a structured pathway to support them back to work. Our volunteers are not clients or customers, it is their decision to choose and commit to being a volunteer and they can stay as long as they want to. There are no goodbyes.
Financial health, per its FY2024 accounts
The accounts state that the charity reported a net expenditure of £14,411 for the year, resulting in a decrease in total funds from £26,905 to £12,494. The trustees confirm that the current bank balance is sufficient to cover committed expenditure and that the charity can meet its obligations for at least 12 months from the date of signing. Per the trustees' report, the charity continues to provide its public benefit despite the financial deficit.
