THE AUDITORY VERBAL CENTRE
Our vision is to give all children with hearing impairment the opportunity to listen and speak as equals alongside their hearing peers. We will achieve this goal by establishing systems of training to create more qualified auditory verbal therapists allied with the provision of direct services for children and their families.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity reported a total deficit of £606,394 for the year, resulting in unrestricted reserves moving into a liability position of £20,583. The Trustees acknowledge that this overdrawn reserve implies restricted cash resources are being used to fund general expenditure. However, the filing notes that post-year-end fundraising generated £385,000 and additional grants were received, returning unrestricted reserves to a significant asset position.
