Application guidance — from the funder’s own website
- How to apply: We have recently implemented a new two-stage application process, which offers early feedback to applicants as well as guidance for those who are invited to submit full bids. Further information about the process and how to use the online application portal is provided on the respective Large Grants and Small Grants pages once each round goes ‘live’.
- Deadlines: There are usually two rounds per year, one for Small Grants and one for Large Grants. For Large Grants 2026/27, the closing date for submitting Expressions of Interest is 5 May (5pm), and the closing date for full applications is 27 July (12noon).
- What they don’t fund: Individuals are not eligible for Trust grants unless part of a wider research or project team.
