SPRINGLANE CIO
The Charity operates out of Spring Lane Playing Fields, Erdington, Birmingham. The purpose of the charity is to provide free sport and activities for local children under the age of 18 and those of pension age. We achieve this by offering licenced usage of the fields to local clubs and organisations, at below market rates and subsidise income through the hire and sales of our community facility.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity ended the period with unrestricted net assets of £2,529, having incurred a net expenditure that reduced its unrestricted funds from a deficit of £5,866 to a surplus of £2,529. The trustees report that financial performance was satisfactory, supported by total income of £139,816 against total expenditure of £131,421. The charity holds no restricted funds at year-end, having spent all incoming restricted resources on charitable activities.
