UNIARK CIO
UniArk provides free admission support to students from persecuted/vulnerable communities. Our support includes personalised feedback on the admission application as well providing small grants to our students where necessary to remove financial barriers. These grants include admission related costs such as English tests which are too expensive for some of our students from developing countries.

The accounts state that the charity raised £33,961 in 2024 and held total unrestricted and restricted funds of £30,322.60 at year-end. The trustees are satisfied that current cash levels are adequate to meet the charity's objects, and the independent examiner reported no material matters requiring modification.
What the accounts disclose
“UniArk experienced technology problems with the bank account where transfer to students and payment for student admissions costs were not possible. In these cases, a UniArk trustee (Shukria Rezaei) paid for the students from her own private account. These payments were reviewed and approved by two other trustees. Receipts are available for all payments and transfers.” — page 23
