THE OPEN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS' EDUCATIONAL TRUST
We give grants for course fees and essential study costs to OU students who are in financial difficulty and unable to receive financial assistance from government and university sources.

The accounts state that unrestricted reserves stood at £1,424,424, a decrease from the previous year's £1,569,075, following a net expenditure of £258,954 against income of £114,303. The trustees report that at current expenditure levels, these reserves are sufficient to fund several years of charitable activity, and the charity has few fixed costs. The trustees also note the charity is expected to transition to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation during 2025-26.
