FY2025

Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts

The accounts state that total funds increased slightly to £28,276, driven by a significant rise in restricted grant income to £58,953. However, unrestricted reserves fell from £10,744 to £6,257 as expenditure on charitable activities outpaced incoming resources. The trustees note that the current reserves policy target is low (£1,000) but aim to build reserves to cover 6-9 months of expenditure in the next 1-2 years.

What the accounts disclose

Largest income source: Grants (95% of income)
“The vast majority of our income comes from grants (£47,687.00) with donations remaining a key part of our income (£2,750).”
Per its FY2025 accounts as filed with the Charity Commission.
Reserves policy: low to hold £1,000 (held: £6k)
“Our reserves policy is low to hold £1,000 as our community groups run at an extremely low cost to the charity and this would enable us to offer those without the IBCLC home visit service. We will aim to hold 6-9 months of average expenditure in the longer term which we aim to meet in approximately the next 1-2 years.”
