OULTON BROAD WATER SPORTS CENTRE
We provide facilities and training for youth and adults to learn and improve their skills in a wide range of water sports. These include sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, raft building and canoeing. We provide open sessions for the general public as well as a range of formal courses leading to qualifications. We regularly work with schools and youth groups.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity achieved a net profit of £12,484 for the year, with unrestricted funds increasing to £28,144. However, the trustees report that the organization has little cash reserves to cushion it against lack of paying customers and notes that its financial stability has been largely due to a generous level of grant funding which cannot be relied on in the future.
