STILL GOOD FOOD
Still Good Food is working to reduce food waste by accepting donations of surplus food from various sources (supermarkets, producers, farmers, etc) that would otherwise be wasted and redistributes it to the general public for a minimal donation. We have two shops, one in Bury St Edmunds and one in Great Barton in Suffolk.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity reported an operating deficit of £9,744 for the year ended 31 March 2025, with total income of £63,010. The trustees note that unrestricted reserves were at the lower end of their policy range, holding just over three months of projected operating costs. Staff costs and overheads are expected to increase significantly in the ensuing year as gleaning activities double.
