HOME-START SPELTHORNE
We support Spelthorne families with at least one child under five who are experiencing difficulties. We match each family with a trained volunteer who visits weekly, becomes a family friend, and offers emotional and practical support to help the family solve their problems.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity ended the year with a surplus of £10,337 and free reserves of £90,425, which the Treasurer describes as a 'very satisfactory position' meeting the policy target of six months' costs. However, the Scheme Manager notes that funding remains a concern for the future, and the Treasurer explicitly states that the current financial recovery is 'no guarantee for the future.'
