HASLEMERE HALL
The charity commenced trading on 1st January 2016 after taking over the running of the Haslemere Hall for the benefit of the people of Haslemere and surrounding areas.
Objects
TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN A HALL FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF HASLEMERE AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, AND IN PARTICULAR FOR USE FOR MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES, AND FOR OTHER FORMS OF EDUCATION, RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity reported a net expenditure deficit of £18,864 for the year ended 31 December 2025, resulting in unrestricted reserves falling to £102,387. The trustees acknowledge that this level of operational reserves is not sufficient to meet their stated policy target of six months' expenses plus irregular maintenance, and they intend to take measures to raise funds. Despite the deficit and reserves being below the policy target, the trustees consider the charity satisfies the test of a 'going concern'.
