To advance education worldwide, including education in leadership skills, and to advance young people in life to help them become responsible citizens by providing support to The World Organisation of the Scout Movmeent, or other organisations dedicated to education and the development of leadership skills of young people, through funding such projects as the Trust may from time to time see fit.

The accounts state that unrestricted funds decreased from £688,973 to £652,564 during the year, resulting in a net movement in funds of negative £36,409. This reduction was chiefly due to grant payments totalling £106,643, which exceeded the total incoming resources of £119,176 when combined with operational expenses. The Trustees confirm the Trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future.
