COVENT GARDEN CHAMBER ORCHESTRA
In planning our activities for the year, regard has been given to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit. We have given four concerts of classical works by various composers. These concerts were all open to the public and were advertised on our website. At each of these concerts, concessionary ticket prices were available for the unemployed, children and senior citizens.
Financial health, per its FY2024 accounts
The accounts state that the charity ended the financial year with unrestricted reserves of £18,329, an increase from £8,778 in the prior year. The trustees report no material uncertainties regarding the charity's ability to continue as a going concern. The charity aims to build reserves to cover the cost of the next concert and eventually six months of expenditure.
What the accounts disclose
