Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity incurred a net loss of £35,699 for the year ended 30 June 2025, driven by significantly increased utility costs and the financial strain of transitioning to a Universal Credit model for its Companions. Despite this deficit, the trustees report that the charity is in a stronger, secure position by year-end, supported by a rigorous review of expenditure and careful budgeting. The total unrestricted reserves stood at £135,047, with free reserves of £37,416, which the trustees consider to be at a safe operational level.
