THE GLADYS WIGHTWICK CHARITABLE TRUST
As the objects of the charity are not limited to any specific areas of charitable activity, the trustees receive a number of applications for donations. In keeping with the founder's general charitable intentions, donations are awarded to a variety of charitable bodies. Twice yearly they review the applications received during the previous six months and select the donees from those applications.

The accounts state that the charity's financial position is considered sound by the trustees, with unrestricted reserves totaling £779,325.03 at year-end. The trustees confirm there are no material uncertainties regarding the charity's ability to continue as a going concern.
