What the accounts disclose
“It is the policy of the trustees to maintain reserves at a level to enable it to be administered efficiently to meet its expenditure requirements and to have adequate resources to fund its charitable objectives. The level of reserves is currently £3,103k (2023: £2,199k). Under the Trust Deed dated 20 December 1991, the charity has the power to invest its accumulated assets in the purchase, acquisition or improvement of any property if appropriate. Their current reserves policy is to accumulate reserves under this power. However, at this time the certainty of cash and cash deposits is deemed to be the most appropriate investment strategy.
