Financial health, per FY2024 accounts
The accounts state that the charity reported a net outgoing resource of £4,549 for the year ended 31 December 2024, resulting in total net liabilities of £90,758. The trustees note that the charity is reliant on financial assistance from the Province to meet liabilities as they fall due, citing rising staff costs and occupancy challenges as key pressures. Despite these negative funds, the trustees and auditors confirm the going concern basis is appropriate due to confirmed support from the Province.
What the accounts disclose
Going concern: doubt noted
“Where the Charity has insufficient monies to cover expenditure financial assistance will continue to be provided by the Province to allow the charity to meets its liabilities as they fall due. Financial support should it be required in the twelve months from the date of the report has been confirmed by the Province and on that basis the trustees are satisfied that there is no known material uncertainty and that it is therefore appropriate to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis.”
