PONTARDULAIS AGRICULTURAL AND HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
The Pontardulais Agricultural and Horticultural Society is based around the running of an annual agricultural and horticultural show. The purpose of the society is for the betterment of agriculture, to encourage the younger generation to become involved in the countryside and to bring the countryside and its way of life to the town for one day of the year.
Financial health, per its FY2024 accounts
The accounts state that the charity achieved sufficient gate income to cover the £15,000 cost of running the show, a target described as unlikely to be met on a wet day. The Trustees propose increases to various membership and admission fees for the upcoming year. Payment for a land purchase is still awaited from the City and County of Swansea.
