THE DORE MALE VOICE CHOIR
The choir rehearses weekly and performs in public approximately 10 times each year. In so doing we are able to improve the musical knowledge and abilities of our members, foster public appreciation of choral music, and raise money for charitable musical causes.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity achieved a small surplus of £118 for the year ended 30 April 2025, with accumulated reserves standing at £52,170. The trustees' report notes that while net performance income increased, this was offset by a fall in subscription and gift aid income alongside higher expenses due to additional rehearsals. The independent examiner confirmed that no matters came to their attention that would require further explanation or indicate non-compliance with accounting requirements.
