HORNBIE'S FOUNDATION
Since the inception of the Trust the main area of funding has been in assisting the development and needs of the school. The policy of the Charitable Trust is to review on a regular basis requests for financial assistance which meet the objectives and criteria of the Trust.
Financial health, per its FY2024 accounts
The accounts state that the charity holds unrestricted reserves of £3,100,726 (comprising £310,726 in income funds and £2,779,524 in capital funds) alongside a revaluation reserve of £2,022,007. The trustees report that the charity's performance has been 'most satisfactory' and that it has been able to provide ongoing support for its charitable objects. The independent examiner confirmed that no matters came to their attention regarding the preparation of the accounts or compliance with the Act.
