HAKLUYT SOCIETY
The objects of the society are to advance education by the publication of records of voyages, travels, naval expeditions and other geographical material and to promote public knowledge of those matters.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity reported a total surplus of £210,080 for the year, driven largely by unrealised investment gains of £138,964. Total unrestricted funds stood at £3,350,283, with the trustees noting that the society continued to face financial risks including inflationary pressures and membership challenges.
