ROCKLANDS PLAYING FIELD
A charity run by a small committee of volunteers who provide and maintain a playing field and pavilion for use by the local communities for sporting activities. At present we provide facilities for 2 adult football teams and eight junior football teams. Also 2 adult cricket teams, and youth teams and U15s, U13s and U11s all playing league cricket. We also have a children's play area.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity reported a net deficit of £1,374.24 for the year, with total income of £27,801.49 against expenditure of £29,175.73. Total bank balances decreased from £8,931.73 to £7,601.07, partly due to a £1,000 transfer from the deposit account. The trustees attribute the reduced loss compared to the previous year to generous donations and grants.
