THE MALLING MEMORIAL INSTITUTE
Through rental income from our building, the Malling Memorial Institute makes grants to individuals or projects working with children and young people in the West Malling area. Grants must support their intellectual, emotional or physical improvement and recreation, and/or the propagation amongst them of the principles of the Christian faith as expressed by the Church of England.

The accounts state that the charity operated at a surplus of £7,480.77 for the year ended 31 December 2024, with total income of £37,541.30 and total costs of £30,060.53. The trustees report that reserves increased to £29,770.47, meeting the stated policy target of maintaining at least £10,000 or 12 months' running costs.
