EAST DEVON DISTRICT SCOUT COUNCIL
As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. The East Devon Scout District supports Explorer Scout Units and the Scout Groups across East Devon to encourage the young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, we support our members by providing the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity held unrestricted reserves of £22,138.40 at year end, which is described as being above the level required for operating expenses. However, the trustees report that the district did not prepare a budget for the financial year and currently lacks a finance committee, resulting in gaps in financial policies and procedures.
