BRITISH ASSOCIATION FOR LOCAL HISTORY
The Association's purpose is to encourage and assist the study of local history throughout Great Britain as an academic discipline and rewarding leisure pursuit for both individuals and groups. The Association also regularly organises visits to places of interest and co-sponsors local history conferences.
