THE L M KENDON SETTLEMENT
The principal objective of the charity is to utilise its fund for the benefit of the elderly people of the London Borough of Newham. This is principally achieved through the operation of high dependancy sheltered accommodation within the borough.

The accounts state that the Trust held unrestricted reserves of £10,651,007 at the end of the year, which the Trustees describe as financially well placed to satisfy its objectives for the foreseeable future. Although the Trust reported an overall loss of £126,259 due to investment revaluations, this was substantially cancelled by a post-year-end market correction. The Trustees confirmed that there are no material uncertainties regarding the Trust's ability to continue as a going concern.
