SOUTH GREEN AND DISTRICT WAR MEMORIAL FUND
Our charity provides a village hall as a permanent war memorial to those who lost their lives in World War 2. We provide facilities for many local organisations from pre-school aged children to senior citizens, raising revenue from lettings & fundraising to maintain & improve the hall for future use.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that income is derived solely from the hire of the hall and expenditure is used for maintenance and upkeep. The charity has no investments and all committee members are volunteers. The trustees aim to retain one-third of annual rental income to cover emergencies.
