THE CANTERBURY HISTORICAL AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL SOCIETY
The society arranges lectures for its members during the winter period,of a historical and/or archaeological nature,and during the summer months,excursions to places of historical interest.The society also has a fund from which an annual grant is made to an individual or individuals who are undertaking historical or archaeological research relating to the Canterbury area.
