ROYAL SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS CHESTERFIELD AND NORTH DERBYSHIRE BRANCH
The RSPCA Chesterfield & North Derbyshire Branch is a separately registered branch of the RSPCA. We carry out our animal welfare work in the areas of Chesterfield and North Derbyshire. Our main aim is to take in mistreated, abandoned and unwanted animals and find them new permanent homes. We also carry out activities to promote responsible pet ownership.
Financial health, per its FY2024 accounts
The accounts state that total funds increased to £3,116,558, driven by a significant rise in legacy income and the release of restricted building funds into general reserves. The trustees consider it prudent to maintain free reserves sufficient to cover at least 12 months of operational costs, a target they believe is supported by the current financial position.
