THE NEW CHURCH CHILDREN'S SOCIETY
The Society offers grants to families to prevent or relieve poverty where children and young people are in need, hardship or distress - to enable those children to achieve their potential and have the prospect of becoming useful in the world. Priority is given to children with no active parent or a mother only. Preference is given to children with family connections to the New Church.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity reported a net deficit of £14,820 for the year ended 31 March 2025, primarily due to unrealised losses on investments. Despite this, the charity holds unrestricted reserves of £908,931, which the trustees consider sufficient to continue supporting families in need. The trustees confirm the charity has adequate resources to continue in existence for the foreseeable future.
