MUNICIPAL CHARITIES
The objects of the Charity are to provide accommodation to ladies of the town of Romsey or those having close relatives in the area and who are in need at the time of assessment.In order to achieve this, the Charity owns, maintains and lets nine accommodation units. The Trustees regularly visit the residents to ensure they are not experiencing any problems.
Financial health, per its FY2024 accounts
The accounts state that the charity reported a surplus for the year and holds total funds of £915,866. The trustees consider the level of free reserves to be appropriate given the age and condition of the charity’s properties. There are no material uncertainties regarding the charity's ability to continue as a going concern.
