TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC BY THE PROMOTION, SUPPORT, ASSISTANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF RYHALL LIBRARY AND THE LIBRARY SERVICE IN GENERAL, IN PARTICULAR BY:• FACILITATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR VOLUNTEERING, ENABLING A SOCIAL HUB FOR EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY AND WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER LOCAL GROUPS, SCHOOLS AND ORGANISATIONS;• CONSULTING AND ENGAGING WITH LIBRARY USERS, THE VOLUNTEERS, THE LOCAL COMMUNITY, AND LIBRARY STAFF TO SEEK TO ENSURE THE CONTINUING AVAILABILITY OF ACCESS TO COUNCIL SERVICES AND INFORMATION AT THE LIBRARY;• PROTECTING, ENHANCING AND PROMOTING RYHALL LIBRARY'S FACILITIES, RESOURCES AND SERVICES TO THE WIDER COMMUNITY;• DEVELOPING A PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES, TO BE CARRIED OUT BY THE FRIENDS OF RYHALL LIBRARY THAT COMPLEMENTS THE EXISTING PROVISION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY.
