Abortion Talk reduces abortion stigma by providing a free, confidential listening service by phone and webchat, alongside information and support. We deliver online and face-to-face workshops for healthcare professionals, students, advocates and community groups, and create public engagement and educational resources.

Objects

1. TO SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED ABORTION STIGMA, THROUGH ACTIVITIES INCLUDING A CONFIDENTIAL LISTENING SERVICE, INFORMATION, AND SUPPORT. 2. TO ADVANCE EDUCATION ON ABORTION STIGMA, BY PROVIDING TRAINING, RESOURCES, PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT AND THROUGH OTHER ACTIVITIES. 3. TO PROMOTE EQUALITY AND THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF WOMEN AND PREGNANT PEOPLE, BY ADVOCATING FOR COMPASSIONATE CARE, ACCURATE PUBLIC REPRESENTATIONS OF ABORTION AND OTHER INITIATIVES THAT ALLEVIATE ABORTION STIGMA. 4. TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT RESEARCH ON ABORTION STIGMA, IN ORDER TO BETTER UNDERSTAND AND REDUCE ITS NEGATIVE IMPACT ON INDIVIDUALS AND SOCIETY.
