The Society aims to conserve, restore and maintain the Rolle Canal, a small tub boat canal which ran from Weare Giffard to Great Torrington in North Devon between 1827 and 1871. Our key objective is to advance public education and awareness of the canal and other waterways in the area and the role they played in the industrial and economic development of North Devon.
