TO ACT AS A RESOURCE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND IN PARTICULAR STUDENTS IN SECONDARY AND TERTIARY EDUCATION IN THE NORTH OF ENGLAND UP TO THE AGE OF 25 BY ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, GUIDANCE AND PRACTICAL ASSISTANCE, EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMMES, PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES AND SUCH OTHER ACTIVITIES AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT AS A MEANS OF:(A) ADVANCING IN LIFE AND HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE BY DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS INDEPENDENT, MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS;(B) ADVANCING EDUCATION AND TRAINING; AND(C) RELIEVING UNEMPLOYMENT, INCLUDING ASSISTANCE TO FIND EMPLOYMENT.
