THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:3.1 THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY OF PEOPLE IN NEED WHO ARE HOMELESS OR AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS IN NORTHAMPTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS BY THE PROVISION OF HOUSING AND ASSOCIATED ASSISTANCE AND LONGER TERM HELP IN SECURING AND MAINTAINING STABLE HOUSING.3.2 THE RELIEF OF PEOPLE IN NEED BY REASON OF HOMELESSNESS IN NORTHAMPTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS BY THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT AND SELF-HELP SERVICES DESIGNED TO ENCOURAGE BENEFICIARIES TO MAKE MORE EFFECTIVE DECISIONS AND CHOICES.3.3 THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND TO PROMOTE AND PRESERVE GOOD HEALTH BY THE PROVISION OF FUNDS, GOODS OR SERVICES OF ANY KIND FOR REFUGEES IN NORTHAMPTON INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT AND SELF-HELP SERVICES DESIGNED TO ENCOURAGE BENEFICIARIES TO MAKE MORE EFFECTIVE DECISIONS AND CHOICES, ENABLING THEM TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY.
