FRECKLETON BAND
To promote the Musical Arts and, in particular, the art of brass band playing and to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said art by the presentation of concerts, competitions and other activities in a non-profit making basis, as well as encouraging the next generation of brass players to develop music making in the community.

“The organisation has no restricted funds. It is revenue based and must ensure that it operates within the confines of cash generation. Expenditure outside normal operating requirements is identified during the cash cycle and funds raised or allocated appropriately. Funds are maintained at a level to ensure the continuity of the charitable objectives in the event of a significant negative event which may include, significant short term replacement of instruments or temporary relocation of the bandroom.” — page 5
