Working under the guidance of the local authority FoSP enhances the benefits of accessing green spaces by getting people involved in activities and volunteer days that it runs eg. gardening, ecological walks, litter picks, small scale events There are also benefits via community engagement which can improve cohesion in the local community by bringing them together to enjoy activities together.
