ASEL Foundation CIO
The ASEL Foundation's objective is the relief and rehabilitation of those in need due to financial hardship, ill-health and alcohol and drug dependency through grant funding places at rehabilitation centres and through grant funding national initiatives which are focused on the rehabilitation of individuals who are committing crime because of their alcohol and drug dependency.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity generated a surplus of £5,072 for the year ended 30 September 2025, strengthening its unrestricted reserves to £13,333. The trustees consider that these reserves are maintained at a level sufficient to meet expected future expenditure commitments and align with the charity's reserves policy. The independent examiner confirmed that no matters came to their attention giving cause to believe the accounts were materially non-compliant.
