THE OLD LIBRARY
We work to retain an important local building by generating income from it. The income will be used to develop it into a welcoming space that will support learning and encourage neighbourhood cohesion. Our aims include providing a free library and a cafe with a flexible and inclusive service to the community.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that unrestricted income exceeded the business plan by over £5,000, driven primarily by café receipts which were £10,000 higher than expected. Cash reserves increased by almost £8,000 during the year, and the treasurer expects to maintain at least this level of reserves into the future assuming café sales continue at the current level.
