FY2025

Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts

The accounts state that the financial position remains sound, although the trustees note significant medium-to-long-term risks regarding rising wage costs, restricted government funding, and potential rent increases. These factors are causing reserves to decrease faster than anticipated, leading to concerns about the charity's future sustainability.

What the accounts disclose

Reserves policy: A reserve to cover any redundancy payments that may be required in the event of closure. (held: £44k)
A reserve to cover any redundancy payments that may be required in the event of closure. The figure required varies over time and the amount held is sufficient to cover these variations.
Per its FY2025 accounts as filed with the Charity Commission.
Going concern: noted by the trustees or auditor
The levels of funding received fail to sufficiently cover the costs of running the nursery and with more and more parents waiting until their child is eligible for funding before starting them with us, this is eating into reserves faster and we may not continue to be sustainable.
Per its FY2025 accounts as filed with the Charity Commission.

Discloses 4 of 6 completeness components.
