GIVE A KIDNEY
Give a Kidney's vision is "No waiting for a transplant for want of a kidney". We aim to achieve this by: raising awareness of living kidney donation, supporting living donors on their journey and advocating for living donation and for improvements to the living donation process. We have a particular focus on non-directed (altruistic) donation, that is giving your spare kidney to a stranger.
Financial health, per its FY2024 accounts
The accounts state that the charity reported a significant excess of expenditure over receipts for the period, primarily due to restricted funding received in 2023 being spent in 2024. Despite this, the trustees confirmed that both restricted and unrestricted reserves remained positive at the end of the year.

“Give a Kidney’s reserve policy is to hold reserves of the level of 6 months of budgeted unrestricted expenditure of the coming financial year as a minimum and 12 months of budgeted unrestricted expenditure of the coming financial year as a maximum.
