(1) THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY BY PROVIDING SOCIAL HOUSING, IN THE FORM OF ALMSHOUSE ACCOMMODATION, FOR PERSONS IN NEED, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS OF NOT LESS THAN 60 YEARS OF AGE (EXCEPT IN SPECIAL CASES TO BE APPROVED BY THE CHARITY COMMISSION) WHO HAVE RESIDED IN (OR HAVE FAMILY WHO HAVE RESIDED IN) THE PARISH OF BUCKDEN FOR NOT LESS THAN FIVE YEARS;(2) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF RESIDENTS AND OF THE ALMSHOUSES AS THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.(3) NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE.
