TOUCHPOINT
Touchpoint operates a community hub, well-being initiative, and free foodshare project. Based in Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex, we serve local towns and villages in Uttlesford, Essex and Hertfordshire. Working with specialist partners we facilitate and deliver an array of services addressing issues around mental health, social isolation, physical well-being and financial stress.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity is a volunteer-led organisation with more than 200 active volunteers providing significant value, while employing only two paid staff members appointed in 2024 and 2025. Per the trustees' report, the charity faces significant challenges due to reduced government funding and competition for grants, though it has secured specific donations such as a £50,000 award for community hub refurbishment.
What the accounts disclose
“We are extremely grateful to Manchester Airport Group/Stansted Airport for making us the beneficiaries of their annual Flagship Award. This donation of £50,000 towards Phase 1 of the refurbishment of our Community Hub proved invaluable in enabling us to deliver so many of our services in a warm, welcoming place.”
“TouchPoint has a policy of retaining at least three months overheads and nondiscretionary costs based on the previous year's expenditure.” — page 12
