Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity is in an acceptable financial position, though it notes that securing public sector funding is becoming increasingly challenging. The trustees highlight that while medium-term funding is agreed, longer-term financial agreements are still required for security. Reserves are held to ensure the charity can meet its legal duty to pay debts in the event of closure.
What the accounts disclose
“Any reserves are held to ensure the Charity complies with its legal and moral duty to ensure we are able to pay debts in the event of its closure”
“The Trustees feel the charity is in an acceptable position at the year end. Forecasts are robust as possible with enough back up to manage the financial crisis in the public sector in the short term. Further funding from the LA has been agreed. Medium term funding for financial security is agreed however the Charity still requires longer term financial agreements for planning and security.”
