Working within the West Midlands, Direct Art Action UK aims to bring back art into the local community by re-purposing vacant units on the high street. Our aim is to organise accessible artistic events, exhibitions and classes for the public. We are able to do this by building a community of artists, that can engage and inspire the public by delivering community and public interest art and events.

2.1. THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS (‘OBJECTS’), BEING AIMED AT THE RESIDENTS OF BIRMINGHAM AND BEYOND, ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING: 2.1.1. TO ADVANCE, EDUCATE AND PROMOTE THE ARTS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, BY PROVIDING THE DISPLAY OF ARTISTS WORK AT PUBLIC EXHIBITIONS; 2.1.2. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF ARTS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THROUGH THE PROVISION OF WORKSHOPS AT PUBLIC GALLERIES; 2.1.3. TO SUPPORT, THE ADVANCEMENT AND ENJOYMENT OF THE ARTS, MAKING IT ACCESSIBLE TO PEOPLE OF A LOW SOCIO-ECONOMIC BACKGROUND AND THOSE WITH MENTAL AND PHYSICALLY DISABILITIES.
