THE GREAT WAR GROUP
The Charity aims to educate members of the public on the First World War. Membership not only provides exclusive content and a forum on which to engage on the conflict, but help to fund our charitable aims. Every year, four issues of "Salient Points", the Great War Group Journal are produced, virtual and in person tours are undertaken, an annual UK conference is held along with many other events.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The charity reported a small surplus of £343 for the year ended 31 March 2025, with total income of £72,672 against expenditure of £72,329. However, the charity remains in a net deficit position, with total funds carried forward at £7,825, compared to a deficit of £8,168 in the previous year. The trustees note that the organization is sustainable but faces challenges regarding the unpredictability of income streams and reliance on technology.
